3x GRAMMY® Award-winner Fantastic Negrito (Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz) brings his raw, inimitable style to Saint Luke's on the back of his highly anticipated new album, Son of a Broken Man, released October 18, 2024.

The new album is one of his most personal works yet, diving deep into the struggle between father and son while exploring themes of family, deception, and the human desire to hide the true self. Fans can expect his trademark sound, blending hard-hitting guitar riffs with expressive, unexpected ballads.

Negrito's story is a true testament to resilience: from a tumultuous childhood in an orthodox Muslim household and a near-fatal car crash that permanently damaged his hand, to his remarkable redemption arc that began with winning the inaugural NPR Tiny Desk Contest in 2015—the 10-year anniversary of which is celebrated in 2025. With three GRAMMY® Awards for "Best Contemporary Blues Album" and collaborations with artists like Sting and E-40, Fantastic Negrito is a powerful live performer, fusing blues, rock, and soul into an essential, unforgettable sound.
