Celtic Connections 2024
One of the most distinctive and bold singer-songwriters of her generation, Thea Gilmore has made 20 albums since the 1998 launch of her first, Burning Dorothy. Her latest, released in October ahead of her solo tour, is self-titled and entirely written, played and produced by the celebrated English artist.
Gilmore has performed at countless festivals and sell-out shows across the globe, and her music has featured in films including Joyride, Army of the Dead, and the BAFTA award-winning Bait. She has also worked with, and won the admiration of, iconic talents such as Bruce Springsteen, Martha Wainwright, John Cooper Clarke, Billy Bragg, Steve Earle and Beth Orton.
