Roaming Roots Revue

Now in its 12th year, Roddy Hart’s ever popular festival staple Roaming Roots Revue returns with an epic concert celebrating - for the first time in its history - the great Scottish Songbook. With the exciting addition of the RCS Symphony Orchestra, conducted by John Logan, modern classics will be revisited and reinvented as a who’s who of Scottish talent gather to perform. Joining the bill: Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, Idlewild’s Roddy Woomble and Rod Jones, Del Amitri’s Justin Currie, Emma Pollock, Camera Obscura’s Tracyanne Campbell, Hamish Hawk, Admiral Fallow’s Sarah Hayes and Louis Abbott, Brownbear and more surprise guests to be confirmed. Curated and hosted as ever by Roddy Hart and The Lonesome Fire, it promises to be an unforgettable show honouring the most phenomenal modern music - and musicians - our country has ever produced.
