Americana, Traditional and Folk guitar heroes

Another chance to experience a unique line-up at Celtic Connections , this time exploring the world of the acoustic guitar – arguably a man and woman’s 2nd best friend. Expect intricate yet powerful, and melodic yet driving musical moments, as four of the world’s top guitarists bring their special guitar styles together on one stage.

Legendary Canadian bluegrass/folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist J.P. Cormier returns to Celtic Connections with his compelling mix of virtuosic guitar work and much-loved songs.  A native of Nova Scotia, he is well known for his incredible playing style and lightning sense of humour.

Equally at home as an accompanist or melody player, Anna Massie is one of the trad world’s foremost guitarists. As well as being a skilled multi-instrumentalist and singer renowned for her work with Blazin’ Fiddles and RANT, she also presents BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning flagship trad music programme, Travelling Folk (Trad Music in the Media, Scots Trad Music Awards 2023).

Tim Edey is rated by many as one of the world's finest ever Melodeon and Guitar players in the folk & contemporary scene today! "A ferocious passion and a beautiful tenderness, sensitivity, respect, understanding & love perpetually shines out through the music of virtuoso musician Tim Edey.” SHARON SHANNON

American-born, Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Danny Bradley is a highly sought-after session player and performer in his own right -  his 2022 release, Small Talk Songs, established him as a potent creative force.
