Findlay Napier & The Outsiders and Paruline

From the Main Stage of Cambridge Folk Festival with folk rock supergroup The Magpie Arc to an intimate acoustic show in the back room of a pub, Findlay Napier is widely regarded as one of the finest performers on the UK music scene. This year he brings his Outsider album to the stage with a full band featuring Donna Maciocia (Camera Obscura) on keys and backing vocals, Suse Bear (Pictish Trail) on bass, Liam Chapman (Billy Nomates/C Duncan) on drums and virtuoso electric guitarist Steve Agnew.

Hailing from Drummondville, Paruline is the indie-folk-trad project of singer and multi-instrumentalist Charles Labrèche. Drawing from his Québécois roots and deep background in traditional music and dance, he offers a fresh interpretation of oral traditions, blending original songs with reimagined traditional tunes. On stage, Paruline delivers a vibrant and heartfelt performance, fueled by infectious energy, bold arrangements, and unexpected rock influences.
