Danú is one of the world's leading traditional Irish ensembles, formed in County Waterford, Ireland in 1995. The group is celebrated globally for its captivating, high-energy live performances that fuse ancient Celtic music with a fresh, contemporary vitality.
The collective features virtuoso players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and bodhrán, complemented by superb vocals in both Irish and English. They have won numerous awards, including multiple "Best Traditional Group" at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
