World Champion bagpiper Ross Miller, whose engaging music and performance style has been thrilling audiences the world over, is returning to Celtic Connections with a fired up line-up of Scottish musical talent.
As well as being a member of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Ross showcases his own infectious passion and flare with the Ross Miller Band - Charlie Stewart (Fiddle - Siobhan Miller Band), Rory Matheson (keys - Fara, Trip), Graeme Armstrong (Guitar - formerly Talisk), Rory Grindlay (Drums - formerly Skipinnish) and Ross Saunders (Bass - Mamma Terra, Federation of the Disco Pimp).
He has secured a range of nominations and accolades through his musical career to date including a Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections and a finalist spot in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year. His debut album, The Roke, received a nomination for Trad Album of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
Ross' new music has been breathing fresh air into the bagpipe sound whilst remaining true to his traditional upbringing. Following a successful UK Tour, an electric performance at the Scots Trad Music Awards and fantastic festival appearances at home and further afield in 2026, Ross and his all-star band can’t wait to see what 2027 holds.
