Bronwynne Brent returns to Glasgow with the soulful, genre-blending sound that has earned her devoted audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Hailing from Mississippi’s Delta region, Brent combines folk, blues, jazz and Americana influences, delivering songs with a rich, expressive voice that has drawn comparisons to classic vocal stylists across generations.
Performing in the intimate trio format that UK audiences have come to cherish, she creates an atmosphere of warmth, elegance and deep musical connection, supported by subtle guitar and bass arrangements that allow her captivating vocals to shine. Praised by Bob Harris as “really special”, Brent’s live performances balance heartfelt storytelling with effortless musicianship and timeless songwriting.
This special Celtic Connections appearance also marks the world premiere presentation of material from her forthcoming fourth album, making it a rare opportunity to experience the next chapter of a remarkable artist’s journey.
