Following in former host Doris Rougvie's footsteps are House of Song 2024 hosts Natalie Chalmers and Scott Gardiner, in a new home nestled in the Novotel Hotel just off Sauchiehall Street. Open to singers and listeners alike, this calm and warm session is in partnership with the TMSA.
Natalie Chalmers is a fine young singer from the north-east of Scotland who has entered and won many competitions over the years, who has competed at the Bothy Ballad Champion of Championships in Elgin. She has guested at many festivals, including at Glastonbury and Cambridge in 2019.
Bothy Ballad and Traditional singer Scott Gardiner has appeared at festivals all over the UK and Ireland, and his repertoire of songs is legendary. A former Bothy Ballad Champion of Champions, Scott is particularly fond of songs from his native Angus.
