Siobhan Miller Band with Kris Drever

Following her sold-out Old Fruitmarket show in 2026, Siobhan Miller returns for her biggest Celtic Connections show yet, bringing her incredible band and special guests to the Barrowland Ballroom.

Backed by Innes White, Charlie Stewart, Tom Gibbs, Louis Abbott, Euan Burton and Niamh Corkey, Siobhan brings the energy of the full band to a night made for the Barras. Driving rhythms and soaring fiddle give the songs their lift, with a few tunes adding to the momentum. Big choruses and the pleasure of a room singing together are at the heart of the night. Songs from her new studio album, While We Have the Time, sit alongside favourites from across her albums, with plenty of space for the musicians to stretch out and for special guests to join the celebrations. Expect the warmth and connection of the Fruitmarket show, with the band in full flight on one of Glasgow’s celebrated stages.

With the release of Doing This for Love, Kris Drever has delivered one of the finest albums of his already remarkable career. Renowned for his work with the groundbreaking folk trio Lau, alongside two decades of acclaimed solo work, Kris has long been one of the most distinctive voices in Scottish music. His latest album finds some of his most compelling songwriting to date brought to life by the extraordinary musicianship of an exceptional band.

Having toured these songs solo throughout the year, Kris now brings them to the iconic Barrowlands Ballroom for a very special full-band performance at Celtic Connections. Featuring the musicians from the recording, including Cahalen Morrison on banjo, Michelle Willis on keys and vocals, Trent Freeman on strings, Rachel Lightbody on vocals, Euan Burton on bass and Louis Abbott on drums, this is a rare chance to experience the full sonic depth, energy and ambition of this remarkable album.
