Acclaimed Irish songwriter Mick Flannery brings his richly textured songs and compelling storytelling to the festival for an evening of music that lingers long after the final note. Known for his distinctive, weathered voice and deeply human songwriting, Flannery crafts songs that balance intimacy and emotional weight, drawing listeners into stories of love, loss, resilience and connection.
Audiences can expect a captivating performance shaped by masterful lyricism and understated musicality, where every song unfolds with remarkable clarity and feeling. From the acclaimed duets of In the Game to the expansive ambition of The House Must Win, his work blends folk, Americana and singer-songwriter traditions with a novelist’s eye for character and detail. The result is a live show that feels both personal and expansive, delivered by one of Ireland’s most respected contemporary songwriters.
