James Yorkston, Nina Persson and The Second Hand Orchestra perform tracks from new album The Great White Sea Eagle.

James Yorkston is a singer/songwriter and author from the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. The Great White Sea Eagle is the follow up to James Yorkston and Swedish collective The Second Hand Orchestra’s The Wide, Wide River - a Guardian Top 10 Folk Album of 2021. Teaming up with the orchestra, the Scottish singer-songwriter takes us into the beautiful world of improv in the folk world. Marrying the lush and majestic orchestral production led by Karl-Jonas Winqvist and vocals by Nina Persson (The Cardigans).

Toronto-based singer-songwriter Julian Taylor presents his new album, Beyond the Reservoir. The album addresses identity, loss, sadness, hope, and redemption.  It is a coming-of-age story and a beautifully-orchestrated successor to the JUNO-nominated The Ridge.

Taylor, of combined Mohawk and Caribbean ancestry, is a Toronto music scene staple, and musical chameleon. His versatility as a songwriter is signature: whether he's with his band spilling out electrified rhythm and blues glory, or delivering an intimate acoustic set. Winner of  best male artist in the 2022 International Acoustic Music Awards, Taylor is as an explosive and captivating a live performer as you’ll ever see.

“…one of the strongest Americana recordings we’ve heard year to date.” (Glide Magazine)
