Citing Lau and The Gloaming as well as Keith Jarrett and Jan Garbarek among his key inspirations, multi-award-winning Scottish pianist Fergus McCreadie scored a phenomenal success with his second album Cairn, released in 2020. Its title track topped the Amazon Fresh Jazz playlist, and a raft of glowing reviews included a five-star rave from Mojo. Rooted equally in Scottish folk and international jazz tradition, McCreadie’s brilliantly original music matches deeply felt lyricism with high-octane rhythmic dynamism and thrilling improvisational flair.

“A phenomenal technician, McCreadie has developed a deeply personal style that captures Scotland’s musical traditions and landscapes while honouring his American and Nordic influences.” (AllAboutJazz)

Polish-born cellist Justyna Jablonska and South Indian violinist Jyotsna Srikanth premiere a groundbreaking encounter between Western contemporary classical and Carnatic music. Inspired by the Hindu Navarathri festival, which celebrates the divine feminine and good’s triumph over evil, their unique musical dialogue interweaves shimmering song-based melodies with electronic effects and virtuoso improvisation.
