Music is a powerful tool which increasingly is becoming a key feature of dementia care, and it is one of the cornerstones in our outreach activities. The very talented Live Music Now Scotland musicians provide tailored dementia friendly performances across Scotland, and we are delighted to be part of Celtic Connections, as we return to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with concerts designed especially for audiences living with dementia.
Mairi McGillivray and Katie Allen are a folk duo based in Glasgow putting their own style on songs from their Tradition in Gaelic, Scots and other traditional styles.
Concert lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes:
First half 35 minutes, interval 20 minutes, second half 35 minutes
