Dallahan 10th Anniversary show with Special Guests and Julie Alapnes

As of 2024, world/folk quartet Dallahan have been recording albums, collecting accolades and performing across the world for a full decade and are celebrating this milestone with a specially designed show for Celtic Connections. Featuring a couple of guests from both the bands past and future, they’ll be revisiting material from their back-catalogue and embellishing their newer material not yet performed at Celtic Connections. 

As they enlist some old and new friends to help them realise their love of weaving influences from Central European and American folk music with their own Scottish and Irish backgrounds in their biggest ever hometown show, this is likely to be the best Dallahan gig that has ever been!

Support comes from Tromsø-born violinist, singer, and composer, Julie Alapnes and her Grammy-nominated band - playing as a 4 piece, including electronics. Known for her hypnotic stage presence and skill as an instrumentalist, Julie delivers beautiful compositions while carrying on the proud tradition of folk music from Northern Norway.
