A rare live appearance by neo-bluegrass pioneers Nickel Creek. The band who, according to NPR, “made Americana the new indie-rock” with their self-titled, Alison Krauss-produced breakthrough album in 2000.  Then aged just 18 to 23, Chris Thile, Sara Watkins and Sean Watkins had been playing together since childhood, thus bringing deep-dyed – and dazzling - technical chops to their startlingly inventive fusions of US roots with multi-genre influences. Two further LPs won them both a Grammy and a Billboard Top 20 album chart spot, since when all 3 have forged flourishing individual careers. Following 2014’s 25th anniversary release A Dotted Line, they reunited for a series of livestreams in 2021, rekindling all the pyrotechnic chemistry they bring to the stage.

Lau Noah is a multi-instrumentalist from Catalonia, Spain. She has received praise by internationally renowned artists - from Phoebe Bridgers, to Jackson Browne and Jacob Collier for her counterpoint filled compositions and poetic storytelling.  Lau presents a solo performance on voice and classical guitar that transcends the limits of singer-songwriter craft, and reaches through to the worlds of Baroque classical music, Spanish folklore and Jazz. Becoming the first Catalan artist to ever perform a Tiny Desk Concert, Lau resides in Brooklyn and has performed with Gavin Degraw, Jorge Drexler and Chris Thile among other great musicians of our time.
