Celtic Connections 2024
Award-winning artist Josienne Clarke first came to prominence in a folk duo with Ben Walker, however she left the musical partnership to pursue a solo career and start afresh. Since then the singer, songwriter and producer has released several EPs and two albums, In All Weather and A Small Unknowable Thing, with the latter earning four-star reviews from the likes of The Financial Times and MOJO.
Clarke’s latest album, Onliness: songs of solitude and singularity, issued in April 2023, sees her revisit some of her back catalogue, re-imagining past works in new ways that give more justice to the songs and to her beautiful, emotive vocals.
