Celebrate the Bard’s birthday with an evening of song and good cheer from Jim and Susie Malcolm, their daughter Beth Malcolm and fiddle supremo Pete Clark.

Jim Malcolm is one of Scotland’s most talented troubadours, having toured Europe and North America for 30 years with his guitar, harmonicas, the songs of Scotland, his own memorable compositions, and a strong wit. He’s known as a fine interpreter of the songs of Robert Burns and will revel in the works of the Bard for this special Burns night concert.

Joining the fun will be Beth Malcolm (Danny Award winner, semi-finalist in BBC Young Musician of the year 2022) on keys and voice, and trad singer Susie Malcolm on vocals. Pete Clark – one of Scotland’s finest fiddlers and an expert on the music of Niel Gow – will recall the great meeting of the Ayrshire poet and the Perthshire composer in 1787.

No haggis, but plenty of Burns, Gow and a’ that.
