Accompanied by Sam Sweeney, the ethereal hymnal qualities of these songs will cast a wonderful spell over this special show.

Live at the Apple Store: Rura
Thursday, 31 January, 6pm 
With a line-up of bagpipes, whistle, flute, fiddle, bodhran, guitar and vocals, Rura features three BBC Radio Scotland ‘Young Traditional Musician of the Year’ finalists, and winners of the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award in 2011. Rura have created a real buzz throughout the folk scene in Scotland, and have been internationally recognised since the release of their debut Break It Up. Come and hear more at this special show.

The singer-songwriter from Dublin has established a worldwide reputation as one of Ireland’s most promising artists. Guest appearances with Paul Weller, Snow Patrol, and Bob Dylan have been followed with sell-out headline shows supported by an ever-growing fanbase.
