Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

With the release last year of their sixth album , backed by a live schedule of some 150 gigs – beginning with a sellout Celtic Connections date to re-open the Old Fruitmarket – Lúnasa consolidated their already formidable reputation among Ireland’s top folk acts.

Their dynamically groove-based, lyrically wind-led sound, comprising pipes, flutes, whistles, fiddle, guitar and bass, continues to expand and evolve, as in Sé’s excursions into Breton and Asturian territory, as well as the band’s own outstanding compositions.

Tonight they celebrate their tenth anniversary with some very special guests.

Based in Monbazillac, France these days, In Taberna have built a reputation across Europe for potent interpretations of Medieval music with a passionate Galician flavour, as well as flamboyant percussion sets and richly-rewarding Arabo-Andalusian pieces that have wowed festival-goers worldwide. Their festival debut is not to be missed.
