Join Dr Donna Heddle, Director of the Centre for Nordic Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands, for a very special free talk. This lecture will look at the unique and complex nature of the supernatural creatures and manifestations which inhabit traditional Scottish ballads and will evaluate their legacy in Scottish literature and song.
