An Irish/Breton double bill featuring, in John McSherry and Dónal O’Connor, the uilleann pipes/fiddle engine of powerhouse traditional outfit At First Light, and the recent pairing of two well-travelled Breton instrumentalists: Erwan Hamon, on bombarde and wooden flute, and accordionist Janick Martin, performing an inventive blend of traditional and original material they call “liberated Breton music”.
