Welcome to this, the thirteenth Showcase Scotland, and a vibrant weekend of music at Celtic Connections.
As a delegate at the nation’s largest international meeting of music industry professionals, you play a significant role in creating links at an international level by introducing the gifted instrumentalists, singers and composers we have here in Scotland to wider audiences.
Connections are at the very heart of the festival and this year through Showcase Scotland we are delighted to work with funding partners in Catalonia as well as Creative Scotland, who will bring six fantastic acts to Scotland in January – Sol i Serena, Las Migas, Jordi Molina & Perepau Jiménez, Lídia Pujol, La Carrau and Domini Màgic – and be a vital part of our Showcase here in Glasgow.
