Coming to the festival this January​?​

The Celtic Connections Press Office accredits around 450 journalists, reviewers, broadcasters and photographers every year. If you intend to cover the festival this year for any media organisation, you will need a Celtic Connections media pass.

Why apply for a Celtic Connections Media Pass?

A Celtic Connections media pass allows you to apply for review tickets or photo access and also entitles you to access the Press Office throughout the festival. The Press Office will be open every day of the festival and is based in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

How do I apply for accreditation?

You can apply for accreditation by filling in the form below. Once we have processed your application we will get in touch to let you know if you have been accredited – please note that we may request that you provide us with a commissioning letter from your editor or producer, or copies of articles you have written on previous Celtic Connections festivals. 

How do I apply for review tickets to concerts?

Once accredited you will be sent a review ticket request form. Please fill this in and return it to the Press Office at your earliest convenience. Due to the limited number of review tickets available for each performance the Press Office can only issue one ticket per publication/media organisation and these tickets are subject to availability. Review ticket request forms still have to be completed even if you have a media pass. Your review ticket request form will make it easier and quicker for us to process your ticket requests but please send them to us as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours before the concert you wish to attend.

Please note that there are no review tickets available for Celtic Connections workshops or the Festival Club.​​​​​
