Lorraine McIntosh

Lorraine McIntosh (born 13 May 1964, Glasgow, Scotland) is the female vocalist, with the Scottish pop band, Deacon Blue, and is married to lead singer Ricky Ross. They have three children.

She is not the same Lorraine McIntosh who performs backing vocals for the UK funk/dance band, Jamiroquai.

McIntosh took a break from music to play the character Alice Henderson for a few years in the popular Scottish soap opera, River City, which is set in a fictitious suburb of Glasgow. Her character is currently out of the story.

McIntosh has also appeared in a number of Scottish films, including Ken Loach's My Name Is Joe, and Lone Scherfig's Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself, as well as 3 episodes of the popular TV drama series, Taggart. She also starred in BBC One's comedy drama Hope Springs.
